Do you have vegetarian option??
One of the best ramen I’ve ever had. Instructions were super easy to follow, everything being in Japanese AND English! Only thing is there can be a bit of a queue but really worth the wait! If you do not speak Japanese but do English I assure you it is not overwhelming at all, in fact it’s incredibly easy!
MoreTop spot for ramen while we here. Be careful, the order of ramen comes with pork in the and AND a plate of pork. Plenty! I ordered extra and had two plates of pork.I ordered the recommended selection on all and it was perfect. Thin noodles, which was the first ramen in Japan that didn’t have thick noodles.Got here around 5pm, moved quick. Had all 4 of us seated next to each other. Great place to visit.
MoreLoved this place on our way home after a long cold rainy day exploring tokyo. The broth was rich and tasty, and I circled the spice level to max - which was perfect. There was a queue, even at 10pm, but it was worth it!
MoreAmazing ramen! Like others have said it’s a little strange but fun way to order. You order at a machine and then they seat you in a little booth. You fill out a card to customize your soup like spiciness level, noodles, etc. and then press a button and they take your card and bring your meal. Unlimited water tap in each booth which is great when you get the ramen extra spicy! A must go if you are in Shinjuku.
MoreFantastic. Easy spot if you're so sharp on Japanese language that lets you customise ramen as you please. Quick, easy and delicious. Small individual spots so not the most social space, kinda interesting though and great if after a quick lunch on the go. Would recommend entirely. Reasonably priced also.
MoreI always thought people were overreacting about this Ramen... I was so wrong. The flavor is out of this world, broth looks heavy, feels thick but it's so light on the stomach. The noodles are incredible but the pork... MY GOD!I can't wait to eat this again.
MoreTraditional ramen in s traditional place, you don't even need to order to a waiter, instead you order to a machine, seats are really small and uncomfortable, if your are planning to talk with your partner at that place, forget it, just eat and go. The food is really good and tasty, and the locations is perfect in the middle of Shinjuku.
MoreJust you and the ramen in a booth. Dig in it’s delicious. And do also order an egg. Best egg I ever had.
MoreThere was a long line at the Shinjuku branch but the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The ramen was absolutely delicious and I will definitely return in the future!
MoreExcellent ramen for a reasonable price! Fast service and the char su was cooked perfectly. Generous portions and a cozy atmosphere made for a nice experience. I'll go back!!
MoreBy far the best ramen place in Japan. So good we returned again and again. Even bought a home kit so I can remember the fantastic flavours when I get back home It shouldn't taste this good when they charge so little. Top Marks !
MoreInteresting experience! In love the soup base and the noodles. Each person has a individual table which makes it uncomfortable. If you plan to go as a big group then I suggest you eat else where. It is good for singles or a couple looking for a quick meal and then be on their merry way. Ordering might be confusing for foreigners so do ask for help.
MoreWaited around an hour to get in but it was so worth it. One of the best ramen I've ever had. Would go back to Japan just for this!
MoreNice experience. I took ramen and it was delicious. The soup are awesome. Staff are friendly. Recommended and must try.
MoreGreat tasting Ramen, may be the best. Tight space but organized very well, single booth design, service very good. The desert is outstanding! 24 hours, definitely worth try.
MoreAnother good Ichiran.....just like the others! Consistent quality across all branches. Can't go wrong!
MoreIchiran being 24 hours made it super convenient. Food was decent and they take credit card. You need to select your dish on the self serve kiosk and if you choose the 5 choice option the waiter/waitress will give you a paper to select your options which you give to the kitchen staff that have a opening at your seat. This was a bit much for a foreigner who does not speak the language. Everyone was still polite and we made our way through easily enough. The district is also very touristy so there are lots of options. A bit pricey for what I think was offered.
MoreHad to queue in order to place my order from a vending machine, then got given own cubicle to eat my food. Overall it was bit wacky but fun experience. They only serve ramen but it's definitely worth a try.
MoreVery poor quality of traditional ramen compared to other local ramen restaurants. The reviews of people giving this place high ratings should not be trusted. I was excited to try this place because I love ramen but I would rather have instant cup noodles than go here again. The broth is mediocre at best, noodle quality is cheap, and the pork quality and flavor is very poor.
MoreA must try when in Tokyo. Broth is rich but balanced. Cha Shu is thinly sliced and probably one of the best in Tokyo. Queues may seem long but it moves quickly
Moreeverything just right for me. i choose medium for all. but it matches me just nice. great soup. noodles textures just right. i finished everything!
MoreDelicious ramen at a reasonable price. We had to wait around 15mins for a seat in the evening but it was worth the wait. 100% would recommend
MoreAwesome ramen... I didn't fancy it at first since is commercially available but last day in japan, I decided to give a try. Regret tried it on the last day.. Is so yummy,!
MoreA really amazing experience. You're gonna have to wait to eat here but it's completely worth it. It's the best Ramen I had in Japan. You just go downstairs where there are a couple of vending machines with pictures of the different dishes, drinks and even desserts. You pick what you want and then take the tickets. After that wait a little longer after a stall it's free to then proceed inside, sit down and hand over the tickets to one of the attendants behind the curtain who will take care of the rest. Totally recommended.
MoreThis is the best ramen I've ever eaten. It has typical Japanese style vending machine where you input your money first then make your selection. Then you take your voucher to the staff and choose a seat in your own private eating booth. Then they give you a slip of paper to make amendments to the broth richness, noodle firmness and spicyness. Such a different way to eat in a restaurant but it's amazing. 10/10
MoreI know this place is a fast food chain across Japan, but man was I impressed. The soup was so savory and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I liked it.so much that I had to buy their instant noodles from the gift shop. The staff was friendly and ordering was simple; just pay at the vending machine. Definitely worth a visit or two.
MoreFast service and yummy ramen! Love their pork as well.
Order your dish at vending machine. For people love spices, take the standard or extra. We came there at 3pm and there were min queue.
MoreEnglish menu. 👍🏻Friendly workers. 👍🏻Awesome environment/atmosphere. 👍🏻Delicious food. 👍🏻👍🏻Good price, affordable. 👍🏻They have these dividers so you can enjoy your meal with privacy, very cool. 👍🏻Clean Toilets. 👍🏻You can purchase the Ramen to make at home after as a souvenir if you like.
MoreWaited for more than an hour in the rain. From purchase through a vending machine to waiting in line for our turn to consumption. Everything was perfect and seamless. Loved the ramen! Worth the wait! Give it a go if you’ve never had it before. Add the vinegar if you’ll like to cut the richness of the broth. I found that the addition of the vinegar made the dish more outstanding. Note that they don’t have the chicken ramen version here.
MoreIncredibly tasty and very good value for money, especially if you order refills. Perfect for tourists since it immerses you in the culture, and there is no language barrier.
MoreOne of the best Japan's ramen. Creamy smooth soup with firm noodles 😋 Lesser crowd on weekday at Shinjuku.
MoreI was told to go there. It was just okay in my opinion. I followed my friend's suggestion to order and add the saltiness to the maximum and stuff, but the ramen was still too plain for me. But it's probably different preference. What I found amusing is how the ramen was served directly to you without people looking. The concept is like studying at the library with dividers between each seat, so you're completely on your own.
MoreI love that you can choose to change certain aspects of the broth. It is so delicious! I like the single seating set-up so you can really focus on the food. This coupled with the vending ticket system makes for a quick in and out of the restaurant. You will definitely need to wait in line but it is worth the wait to try it at least once (or twice).
MoreMy friends told to me"This is most famous Ramen restaurant in japan".Seeing people from different countries lining up, I thought that was true.I'm lining up and ate it's ramen. My inpression is not bad,but not special.I don't eat if I'm line for hours.
MoreVery delicious ramen.Very long queue in lunch time and dinner. So be patient if you want to have a good experience. 😘
MoreGreat host and service. This seems to be a tourist destination but it is good ramen! Use the vending machine to select your meal. I chose the 5 options meal. This came standard you have the choice of green onion or white, different style of noodle, thin medium or thick, as well brother and you can get add one too. It's in a private booth that they serve you. And there's a button to press with a form if you want more food! 😁 Oh and check out the bathroom with the toilet paper wall.. You will see what I mean. 😂
MoreI feel this ramen store is a bit overrated as this is not most Japanese people’s recommendation, yet most foreigners believe this is the best ramen store.
MoreBest ramen ever! Husband and I had to return a second time at a different outlet. Food was equally good and we wish Singapore had an outlet.
MoreGood experience! We had only a short wait in line (on a Monday evening at 6:30). You order using the machine at the front door then wait with your meal ticket to be seated. In the meantime you are able to choose your noodle firmness, broth richness, inclusions, spiciness etc. using a pencil and paper. Then you are seated in a semi-private booth next to a member of your party. There is a water tap and glasses at your table and tissues behind you. There are places to put your bag and hang jackets. The regular ramen (950) was excellent, especially since you choose how you like it. Beer is available for reasonable price.
MoreHad this for breakfast and although on a tad heavy side, it was DELICIOUS! I ordered the noodle that comes with toppings including a boiled egg, a type of funghi 2 pieces of seaweed and sliced pork belly. I loved how I was able to order the thickness of the broth and the texture of the noodle. Went with rich broth and firm noodle. The meat was rich with flavour and the broth I could slurp for days. Highly recommend a visit to this joint!
MoreMy first meal after landing in Japan and I gotta say it did not disappoint. The stand out has to be the pork which really caught me by surprise with how tender and flavourful it was, but don't think for a second the rest didn't hold up.. Soup was amazing and noodles spot between soft and hard as I ordered. Also any solo foreign travelers will enjoy the unique experience of a 1 person booth. Great start to my holiday!
